Were you born in Münster or where do you have your roots?
HP: I was born in Ennigerloh and grew up in Münster.
How long have you been with ATLANTIC Hotels?
HP: Since the opening in 2021.
What was your career path at ATLANTIC Hotels so far?
HP: I started as a reservation employee and after 1.5 years I became junior revenue manager. After further training at the German Hotel Academy, I am now revenue manager.
What did you do before you started working at the ATLANTIC Hotel Münster?
HP: I did my apprenticeship in another hotel in Münster. Mr. von Zabern (Hotel manager, ATLANTIC Hotel Münster) was the hotel manager at the time.
Describe your work in the reservations in three words.
HP: consistent, flexible, fun
Do you have a tip regarding guest communication?
HP: It is good if you are very friendly. It helps if you smile while speaking, as the mood is transmitted over the phone.
What attracts you to revenue management?
HP: The combination of drawing a conclusion from various data sets and being able to develop a strategy for the coming months.
What three things are you grateful for?
HP: family, health, employer
What goal would you like to achieve this year?
HP: My professional goal for this year was to become a Revenue Manager. I was able to achieve this recently. Privately, I would like to take a trip to Peru.
Tell us about an experience from your time at ATLANTIC so far.
HP: Definitely the hotel's first birthday and the celebration that came with it. It was a special event and the whole team was involved.
Which ATLANTIC Benefit do you use the most and why?
HP: The employee rate, because I like to travel and also enjoy city trips.
When I'm not working, then…
HP: ...I spend a lot of time with my dog and do sports alone or with friends.
Münster is for me...
HP: …a very liveable city with many inhabitants spread over a large area. It is quite rural.
