We signed the “Charta der Vielfalt” (German Diversity Charter) in June 2017, because WE ARE DIVERSE. The employers' initiative aims to promote diversity in the workplace and create an environment that is free from prejudice. Regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic origin, religion, ideology or disability, age, sexual orientation and identity, we value all people without restriction. The corporate values of quality, respect, optimism, credibility and loyalty form the basis of our daily actions.

Sustainability and resource conservation are a core concern of all ATLANTIC hotels, which is why all ATLANTIC hotels are certified with the Green Sign certificate since July 2023.

This multi-stage system, which is unique in the industry, has already been implemented in many national and international hotels. It considers the ecological, economic, and social aspects of all hotel processes and provides suggestions for further optimization.

Following successful initial certification in 2023, the hotels of the ATLANTIC Hotels Group are now undergoing recertification.

In 2025, the ATLANTIC Hotel Sail City was awarded the title of EXCELLENTLY FAMILY-FRIENDLY for the fifth time in a row since 2015 by Impulsgeber Zukunft e.V. in collaboration with the Senator for Economics, Labor, and Ports and the Bremen Chamber of Commerce (IHK for Bremen and Bremerhaven) for its family-friendly personnel policy. 

A family-friendly corporate culture encompasses a wide range of topics. Flexible working hours, childcare, working from home, caring for relatives, and even preparing for parenthood are all covered and are constantly being developed in the form of target agreements with defined measures. 

The resulting feel-good atmosphere is also highly appreciated by our guests.

In 2013, the ATLANTIC Hotel Kiel was one of the first hotels in Germany to be awarded the "Excellent apprenticeship" seal by the German Hotel Directors Association (HDV).

This high distinction for training quality is audited by an independent testing organization (the Dekra). It must be renewed every two years.

In order to be awarded the seal, demanding audit criteria must be met and appropriate evidence provided. The certification is intended to provide guidance for young people and their parents and also give them the assurance that they have found an exemplary training company.

Severin*s – The Alpine Retreat in Lech am Arlberg (Austria) was named “TOP EMPLOYER EXCELLENT 2025” by Schlummer Atlas/ Busche Verlagsgesellschaft mbH.

We are passionate about diversity and are committed to a strong working environment, fair payment, working conditions and career opportunities as well as an attractive work-life balance and digitalization.

Busche Verlagsgesellschaft mbH conducted a personnel study with the scientific support of the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Ravensburg. The study aimed to identify the most attractive employers in the hospitality industry in German-speaking countries. To this end, an anonymous online survey was conducted from October 2024 to March 2025.
